Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13th, 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country music singer-songwriter whose tales of youthful heartache earned her widespread recognition in the beginning of the 21st century. Swift's passion for music was evident at an early stage. From musicals for kids to performing before thousands, Swift made rapid progress. Swift was 11 years old when she first performed The Star-Spangled Banner at a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game. Following that Swift began to write songs, and also picked up the guitar. Swift created original music that was inspired by country performers such as Shania Twain (now known as the Chicks) and Dixie Chicks. Her material expressed Swift's feelings about tweens and the feeling of alienation. Swift left Pennsylvania along with her parents and moved to Tennessee, Hendersonville. she was 13 years old to dedicate her time in contacting the country music labels.
